• The Trumpian phenomenon in managing media and PR campaigns around the world, inspired by the way former US President Donald Trump managed social media and created a new model for managing PR and global diplomacy.

Globalization 4.0

The author has examined the concept of Globalization 4.0 in Chapter I and the emergence of globalization during its previous phases with the development of the industrial revolutions from the first, second and third to the fourth industrial revolution, which were essential to the emergence of a more humane globalization, which is the age of globalization 4.0.

Dr. Abdulzaher links the great technological advances offered by the new globalization and the advent of journalism with artificial intelligence, and how globalization 4.0 can push into the era of “7G journalism” in the 1930s.

While in the second chapter the author shows the future of Artificial Intelligence journalism and how the media can be shaped by the year 2030, he also talks about the “Dynamic Skills” and how human skills are developed and with the technologies and tools of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and journalism with artificial intelligence.

7G journalism

In Chapter III, Abdulzaher defined seven characteristics of the 7G journalism concept:

1 – 7G journalism has the ability to predict news.
2-7G journalism relies on the technologies of the 7G networks.
3 The sender will not exist in the era of 7G journalism.
4 – 7G journalism will empower anonymous media. Organizations that play a significant role worldwide.
5 The media and entertainment industry is ruled by huge technological empires.
6 A huge gap between the world’s media outlets.
7 Serious Violations of Public and Community Privacy.

IIPR model

The author coined a new model for the PR industry in Chapter 4 that shows different phases of PR, from the traditional PR phase, then electronic PR, then digital PR and finally to the smarter interactive PR that he calls: “Intelligence-integrated public relations model (IIPR), which is based entirely on the technologies of 4IR and the robotization of marketing tools in order to reach the target groups.

Abdulzaher defined the IIPR term as: “A new form of public relations, more sophisticated and intelligent than the traditional, electronic and digital forms, where the PR function depends on the tools and technologies of the fourth industrial revolution in content creation and predetermination of the target audience , whereby the target group is mainly listed in the databases of the contact person, be it by a human, a machine or an artificial intelligence. “

IIPR has 10 new features that will shape the future of the media industry as follows:

1 Creation of preliminary reports, analyzes and automated databases of the target group.
2 Automatic creation of information and advertising messages using artificial intelligence technologies.
3 Using artificial intelligence tools and solutions in the transmission or publication of media content in order to reach the public.
4 Combining the best of traditional lines of communication and artificial intelligence technologies to enhance the roles of intelligence outreach.
5 Depending on tools and applications of artificial intelligence in the management of media campaigns.
6 Adding new elements that drive PR functions.
7 Upgrading the role of the PR manager to become more dynamic and flexible.

The author has outlined 10 characteristics to define why the robotization of marketing outperforms digital marketing as follows:

AI journalism model

In the sixth chapter, the author explained “Abdulzaher Artificial Intelligence Journalism Model of Communication”, the first global model published by the author, as the theoretical framework for journalism studies with artificial intelligence and methodological framework in this area.

Finally, in chapter seven, the author looks at the future of world technology in the post-Covid-19 era and the world’s new technologies and solutions that will be critical after the coronavirus.

About the author

Dr. Mohamed Abdulzaher is an academic, author, and pioneer of Artificial Intelligence (AI) journalism. He is an assistant professor of digital public relations and journalism with artificial intelligence and has a Ph.D. in mobile application development and intelligent government services in the United Arab Emirates.

The work of Dr. Abdulzaher comprises over 80 books, essays and reports (English and Arabic) in media studies and AI journalism.
