As the world navigates through the effects of COVID-19, connectivity is proving essential in moving daily activities to a new normal. As networks become more fundamental with the normalization of remote work, connectivity will become more reliable than ever. Both the technology and semiconductor industries and their global supply chains will play an important role in how technology and connectivity will affect future business practices.
As the industry prepares for the implementation of 5G, technological elements that enable the network need improved performance and higher performance to support the next generation applications of the future. The semiconductor industry continues to play an important role in progress, but as the demands of 5G increase the pace of progress, semiconductor manufacturing will lay the foundation for refined innovation. This topic will be discussed further in the context of “Globalization and the Future of Tech”, where experts present their perspectives on the role of globalization for the future of technology and its effects on the emerging new normal.
